How is created the LOCAL_CDI_ID with NEMO?

In order to be unique, the LOCAL CDI_ID,generated using NEMO, is the concatenation of 3 fields.

If the Cruise information exists (for MEDATLAS and NetCDF output formats), the LOCAL_CDI_ID is the concatenation of :

  • the cruise reference (input in the Cruise screen)
  • the Station number (input in the Station screen)
  • the Data type ((input in the Station screen)

If there is no Cruise information (for ODV output format), the LOCAL_CDI_ID is the concatenation of:

  • the dataset reference (input during the conversion step)
  • the Station number (input in the Station screen)
  • the Data type ((input in the Station screen)

Be aware that this LOCAL_CDI_ID must be the same than the one generated in the XML description of CDI using MIKADO.
